How do I find a trailer near me? Search by ZIP or city, or use the map, on the trailers and locations pages. See find and book a trailer.
Does it cost anything to rent through Patriot Hauls? No. Renting is free for you — no account fees and no booking fees. You pay the operator directly.
When is my card charged? If the operator auto-approves, you're charged when you finish checkout. If they review each booking, your card is held and only charged once they approve. See paying and deposits.
Verification and contracts
Why do I have to verify my license and insurance? Some operators require it before confirming a booking. You can verify your license instantly with Stripe or upload a photo, and upload your insurance. See renter verification.
Do I have to sign a contract? Yes — every rental includes a digital agreement you sign before pickup. It takes seconds, and you get a copy to save. See sign your contract.
Deposits, accounts, and changes
Is the security deposit refundable? Yes. The deposit is marked refundable at checkout and the operator releases it after you return the trailer in good shape. See paying and deposits.
How do I log in — I never made an account? An account is created for you automatically after your first booking. You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. See your renter account and deletion.
How do I see or rebook a past rental? Open My Bookings and tap Book Again on any rental. See manage or rebook.
How do I change or cancel a booking? Contact the operator directly — their details are on your booking and confirmation email.
How do I delete my account? Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account. See your renter account and deletion.
