Patriot Hauls connects you with independent trailer and equipment operators in your area. Renting is always free for you — no account fees and no booking fees. You pay the operator directly.
Find a trailer
There are two ways to search:
- Browse trailers at the trailers page (
/rentals) — search by the equipment you need (dump trailer, enclosed, dumpster, equipment, and more), then filter by type, hitch, and price. - Browse operators at the locations page (
/locations) — find rental businesses near you and see everything each one offers.
Type a ZIP code or city into the search box, or use the map to explore. Patriot Hauls matches your location to nearby listings and ranks them by distance, so the closest options show first. Trailers within towing range of your search appear even if they're a town or two over.

Tip: Switch between the list view and the map any time to see exactly where each operator is.

Book your dates
Each trailer has its own page with photos, specs, the daily rate, and a booking panel. Pick your dates and continue to checkout right from here:

- Open the trailer you want and choose your pickup and return dates (and times, if the operator offers hourly or same-day rentals).
- Pick a pickup location if the operator has more than one yard.
- Continue to the guided checkout.
Check out
Booking happens in a single guided flow:
- Answer any questions the operator asks (some operators collect a few details up front).
- Review your trailer, dates, add-ons, and the full price — including any refundable security deposit.
- Pay securely. Your card details are encrypted and processed by Stripe.
- Sign the rental agreement.
- Add your documents — driver's license and insurance, if the operator requires them.
- You're all set. You'll get a confirmation, and a Patriot Hauls account is created for you automatically.
If the operator reviews bookings by hand, your request goes to them for approval and your card is only charged once they accept. If they auto-approve, you're confirmed on the spot.
