Your listing stays private — a Draft — until you publish it. Publishing makes it public so renters can find and book you in Discover (and through your storefront link). Here's how to go live.
Publish your listing
- In your dashboard, open Business Info.
- Find the Publish Listing toggle and switch it on.
- Save. Your listing flips from Draft to Published and becomes discoverable right away.
You can flip the toggle back off any time to take your listing private again — your assets, bookings, and history all stay put.
Connect Stripe first
There's one gate: you must connect Stripe payouts before your listing can go live. Renters can't complete a booking — or pay a deposit — without it, so Patriot Hauls won't let a listing publish blind.
If you try to publish without Stripe connected, the toggle is held off and you'll see a prompt to connect. Open Payments, connect your Stripe account, then come back and publish. See connecting Stripe for payouts.
Good to know: Publishing does not require document verification. Your listing can go live the moment Stripe is connected. Trust badges like Verified Operator and Insured & Bonded are earned separately and shown as trust signals — they're not a gate to going live.
Before you publish — a quick check
A published listing should be ready for a real renter. Make sure you've:
- Added at least one asset with photos and a daily rate — see adding a trailer.
- Set the right specs so renters book the correct unit — see specs and photos.
- Set up your pickup yard — see pickup locations and yards.
- Connected Stripe so you can actually get paid.
For the full path to going live, follow the operator onboarding checklist.
