Getting live on Patriot Hauls comes down to five things: your business profile, your fleet, payouts, your contract, and publishing. You can do them in this order and have your listing taking bookings the same day.
1. Fill out your business profile
Start in Business Profile (Identity tab). Add your business name, address, category, phone, and a short description. This is what renters see and it powers your spot on the map and in search. See editing your business profile for the details.
Tip: If your business is already in our directory, claim it instead of starting from scratch so you don't lose any existing ranking.
2. Add your fleet
List the trailers, equipment, or dumpsters you rent out. Add each unit with photos, specs, daily and weekly rates, and the yard it's picked up from. Getting at least one unit online is your first real win — renters can't book an empty fleet.
3. Connect Stripe payouts
Open Payments and connect your Stripe account. Patriot Hauls takes no commission — payments and deposits run through your own Stripe and the money goes straight to you. See connecting Stripe payouts.
Heads up: This step isn't optional if you want bookings. You cannot publish your listing until Stripe is connected — without it, renters reach a checkout that can't complete. Connecting Stripe also verifies your business automatically.
4. Set up your contract
Choose and customize your rental agreement in Contract Settings. Patriot Hauls comes with legal templates for trailers, equipment, dumpsters, and a damage waiver, and fills in renter and booking details automatically. See customizing your contract.
5. Publish your listing
Back in Business Profile → Identity, flip the Publish Listing toggle on and save. Your listing goes live, appears on the public map and in Discover, and starts taking bookings. (If Stripe isn't connected yet, publishing is held until it is.)
Optional: get verified
Verification isn't required to go live, but uploading your ID and insurance earns the Verified Operator and Insured & Bonded badges, which build renter trust. You can do this anytime from your profile's Trust tab.
