Renters sign your rental agreement electronically by typing their full legal name. There's nothing to print or scan, and the signed copy is saved automatically for both of you.
Signing during online checkout
When a renter books online, the Sign step appears in the guided checkout. They:
- Read the agreement, already filled in with their name, dates, the unit, and your fees.
- Type their full legal name to sign.
- Continue to finish the booking.

Signing from a link you send
For bookings you create yourself, the renter signs from a secure, token-protected link — no account required. They see your business name, a summary of the booking, the full agreement, and a box to type their name. This is part of the payment link you send, and a standalone contract-signing link is also included in their confirmation email.
Good to know: Typing their name and clicking to agree constitutes a legally binding electronic signature — the page states this clearly before they sign.
After signing
- The agreement is marked signed, with the renter's name and a timestamp.
- The renter gets a printable, read-only signed copy they can save or download as a PDF.
- You'll find every signed agreement under Dashboard → Contracts → Signed Contracts, with the renter, unit, dates, and signature.
If a link doesn't work
Signing links are tied to the specific booking and expire or become invalid if reused incorrectly. If a renter says their link is invalid, generate a fresh one from the booking and resend it.
