Things Hank can do for you

    Last updated 2026-10-22

Hank does more than answer questions. Tell him what you need in plain words, like "extend Jeremy's rental to Sunday" or "refund the $12 hitch fee", and he sets it up for you. Hank shows you exactly what he's about to do, with the real dollar amount, and nothing changes until you tap Confirm.

    Your bookings and money

    • Extend a rental. Give the new return date, or for an hourly rental, how many hours to add. Hank gets the price from your own rates and asks whether to charge the card on file or send the renter an invoice. The price is always the normal extension price. Custom prices aren't available.
    • Refund a renter. Part or all of what they paid, back to the card they paid with. The security deposit isn't refunded this way. You return or keep it from the deposit section of the booking.
    • Send a pay link. Hank emails the renter the link for what they still owe, and texts it too if your texting is connected.
    • Accept a booking that's waiting on you. This charges the card hold the renter placed at checkout. If their documents are on file but our check couldn't confirm them, Hank asks whether you checked them yourself. In person is fine. If a document is missing, nobody can accept the booking until the renter sends it in.
    • Find a rental by the renter's name or an invoice number, so you don't have to dig for it.

    Your listings and calendar

    • Change your rates: daily, 3-day, weekly, monthly and hourly, on standard-priced listings. New bookings get the new price. Bookings you already have keep theirs, but if you extend one, the extra time is priced at the new rate. Dumpster and U-Fill bucket pricing, storage, and multi-week rate cards stay in the listing editor.
    • Block a trailer's dates, or close your whole yard for a vacation.
    • Save a listing description Hank wrote for you.
    • Turn your AI booking agent or storefront chat widget on or off.
    • Create a coupon code, look up your codes, or switch one off or on. See Coupon codes.
    • Send a renter their inspection form (pre-trip or return).
    • Switch your own email alerts for new bookings and renter messages on or off.

    How Confirm keeps it safe

    1. Hank checks the details first: the price, what's refundable, whether the trailer is free, and whether the renter's documents allow it.
    2. He shows you a Confirm button with exactly what will happen.
    3. It happens only when you tap Confirm, and each button works once. Tapping twice, or tapping an old button, doesn't do it twice.
    4. A Confirm button expires after 15 minutes. If the price changed since Hank showed it, he stops and tells you the new amount instead of charging it.

Heads up: If Hank ever says he couldn't tell whether something went through, don't ask him to do it again right away. Check the booking first. It may already be done.

Who on your team can do what

Hank follows the same rules as your account. Staff can extend rentals, refund, send pay links, accept bookings and send inspection forms. Changing rates, listings, the calendar blocks, the AI agent and coupons takes a manager or the owner. Only the owner can switch the owner's email alerts. See Invite your team.

    What Hank won't do

Hank doesn't touch payouts, your Stripe or Square settings, your plan, security deposits, voiding an invoice, changing a booking's dates or trailer, or lockbox codes. For those he points you to the right screen, or files a ticket for the team.
