The AI Concierge runs on prepaid credits with a hard ceiling. The single most important thing to know: you can never be billed past the credits you've already bought. When credits run out, the widget keeps working — it just goes back to capturing leads.
How credits work
- 1 credit = 1 AI conversation. A credit is consumed per conversation, not per message — a back-and-forth chat is one credit.
- Your Credits left balance and AI conversations this month are shown in the AI Concierge card under Settings → Chat Widget.
- Credits never expire.
The hard ceiling
A credit is reserved before the assistant produces any answer. The moment your balance hits zero, the AI Concierge stops answering and the widget downgrades to lead-capture only — the renter's message is still saved and you're still alerted. You are never charged for an undelivered answer.
Good to know: Cost protection is built in by design. There's no way for the AI to keep spending once your credits are gone — it simply stops and falls back to capturing the lead.
Buy credits
In the Buy credits section, pick a pack and pay with a secure one-time Stripe payment. Packs shown in the dashboard include a Starter, a Growth pack (most popular), and a Pro pack (best value). Your balance updates as soon as the payment confirms.
Auto-refill (optional)
Turn on Auto-refill to top up automatically when you run out so the assistant doesn't pause. It's off by default — leave it off if you'd rather control every top-up yourself.
Low-balance warnings
- When you're down to a handful of conversations, the dashboard shows a low balance warning.
- When you hit zero with the AI Concierge on, you'll see a notice that the widget is running as lead-capture only until you add credits.
