The chat widget is a branded chat bubble that lives on your Patriot Hauls storefront and on your own website. It captures leads around the clock and, when you switch on the AI Concierge, answers renter questions straight from your live inventory — checking availability, quoting prices, and handing back a ready-to-book link.
What it does
- Captures every lead. When a renter sends a message, it creates a lead and lands in your Inbox, with an SMS and email alert so you can jump in.
- Answers from your inventory (AI Concierge). With AI on, the assistant answers questions about your units, checks live availability for specific dates, and points renters to a booking link.
- Quotes and closes (paid plans). On any paid plan, the assistant also gives exact quotes and actively guides a renter all the way to a completed booking. See agentic booking.
- Falls back safely. If the AI Concierge is off or you're out of credits, the widget keeps working as plain lead-capture — you never lose the lead.
Good to know: The widget is scoped to your business only — it answers from your inventory and books your units. It's not a general Patriot Hauls search.
Who it's for
This is your storefront assistant for renters. It's separate from the in-app support widget, which is operator-only and never appears on public or renter pages.
Cost control comes first
The AI Concierge runs on prepaid credits with a hard ceiling — you can never be billed past the credits you've bought. That protection is covered in detail in AI credits and cost controls.
