Delete your account

    You can permanently delete your Patriot Hauls account yourself, any time, from your settings. Deletion is final — there's no undo — so it's worth knowing exactly what happens first.

    How to delete

    1. Go to Settings in your dashboard and scroll to the Danger Zone.
    2. Tap Delete My Account.
    3. Read the confirmation, then tap Permanently Delete Account.

    Only an owner can delete the account. Once it's done, you're signed out and your personal data is removed.

    Active bookings block deletion

    If you still have active or upcoming bookings, you can't delete yet. Renters are counting on those rentals, so you'll be told how many are open and asked to complete or cancel them first. Once none are outstanding, deletion goes through.

    What's removed and what's kept

    When you delete:

    • Removed: your personal information, your uploaded documents (driver's license, insurance), and your business listing, trailers, and settings.
    • Cancelled: any active Patriot Hauls subscription, so you're not billed after you leave.
    • Kept: for legal and tax reasons, anonymized records of past transactions — bookings, invoices, contracts, and signatures — may be retained.

    When an operator leaves, the renter contacts tied to those past bookings are preserved (re-pointed to a Patriot Hauls system account) so the platform can keep them for remarketing. Your own personal data is still scrubbed.

    Good to know: If you're a renter deleting your own account, your deletion is fully honored — your profile and uploaded documents (license, insurance) are permanently removed. See your renter account and deletion.

    If something goes wrong

    If deletion fails for any reason, email support@patriothauls.com and we'll remove your account for you.
