QR-code trailer inspections

    Last updated 2026-07-03

A QR sticker on the trailer is the fastest way to run a condition check. One code per unit works for both pickup and return — whoever's standing at the trailer scans it and the inspection opens right up.

You'll find the codes in your My Fleet area, on the inspection QR tab.

    Get your QR codes

    1. Open My Fleet and go to the inspection QR tab. You'll see one card per unit.
    2. Download each code as PNG for easy printing, or SVG for label-quality scaling at any size.
    3. Print it and affix it to the trailer somewhere weatherproof and easy to reach.

Good to know: It's one QR sticker per trailer, and it handles both pickup and return — you don't need separate codes for each.

    Use it at the trailer

    1. At pickup or return, scan the sticker with any phone camera.
    2. The inspection opens — walk around the trailer and capture the condition and photos.
    3. Submit. The record is saved to that unit and booking as your dated proof.

Those photos become your evidence if there's ever a dispute — see Pickup and return inspections and Photo evidence and disputes.

Tip: Laminate the sticker or use a label made for outdoors. A faded QR code that won't scan defeats the purpose.
